Rika’s Workshop is an upcycle studio. We take unwanted clothes and leftover fabric scraps and stitch them into pouches, bags, and little things worth keeping — so nothing good ends up in the trash.

I’m a 12-year-old crafter, surfer, and swimmer from Southern California — and I’ve been knitting and crocheting since I was 6 years old.
From a young age I was already running my own craft booth. Since then I’ve sold more than $3,000 of handmade goods — and I’ve always donated part of every sale. I also regularly knit and donate hats to Knots of Love, a charity that gives handmade items to people going through chemo and to babies in the NICU.
Rika’s Workshop is my next chapter: turning unwanted fabric into things worth keeping — and bringing people together to create, reuse, and to give back.
